Amazon.co.jp 「過去に見たような気がする光景」という意味のタイトルどおり、主人公の捜査官ダグは、デジャヴを感じたことで信じがたい運命に巻き込まれていく。500名以上が乗るフェリーが爆破され、事件に関係すると思われた女性の遺体から、真相に迫ろうとするダグ。特別捜査本部では「4日と6時間前」の監視映像が見られるという最新システムが使われ、犯人像が絞り込まれていく。 事件の真相よりも、衛星と特殊カメラを使って、特定の家の内部まで監視するシステムのリアルさに驚かされる。過去と現在をつなぐ物語なので、細かい部分に突っ込みどころはあるものの、物語のオリジナリティは評価したい。デンザル・ワシントンは、いつもながら骨太な存在感を出しているが、ヒロイン役に抜擢されたポーラ・パットンが魅力的なのは、新人を発掘するのがうまいプロデューサー、ジェリー・ブラッカイマーの才能だろう。撮影は2006年初めのニューオリンズで行われ、前年、ハリケーン「カトリーナ」がもたらした悲惨な状況もフィルムに焼き付けている。（斉藤博昭）

I think I have seen this before Looks like a bit of terrorist hanky panky is about to take place; we get a front row first hand view of the action. The real story starts when one of the apparent victims Claire Kuchever (Paula Patton) washes upon shore an hour too early. This intrigues an ATF Agent Doug Carlin (well acted by Denzel Washington.) During the investigation Doug starts to fall in love with the victim (yes this has happened before in Laura with Dana Andrews and Gene Tierney Dj Vu.)The question is will life and technologies allow Doug to make a small correction to future history? Or is this a world of what will be will be?This film has a lot of good explosive action and beautiful people that just can not be replaced by CGI. And dont overlook the acting ability of Val Kilmer.
